The role of the Section is to coordinate, oversee and direct the day to day operations of the district administrations in accordance with the Ministry’s objectives.  It provides financial and administrative guidance, support and assistance to the administration.  It also ensures that a high standard of service delivery is maintained throughout the offices.  In a nutshell it is responsible for the building of the local administration management capacity.

The Section is headed by a Director and assisted by three Liaison Officers and Inner Island Coordinator (for Praslin and La Digue)
