Port Galud District entertains Football Mass Sport
The Port Glaud District Authority in collaboration with the Youth Worker hosted a Football Mas Sport on Sunday 28th July, 2019. This form part of a series of such competition being organized at Regional Level.
The activity managed to attract the youth of the district and they participated in the spirit of fair play and promoting healthy lifestyle away from ill wills of the community. The competition started at 1: 30pm and ended at around 5: pm. In total three teams namely Espadron, Venom, and Bluseal registered. They played two games against each other. In the end Venom came out first with 20 points, Espadron second with 10 points and Bluseal with 7 points. The team were presented with cups by the District Administrator in the presence of the MNA. With their win, Venom will represent Port Glaud at the regional football encounter.
In addition to good turnout of players, the activity also managed to pull residents of the district to spend and entertaining afternoon at the playing field. The DJ kept the afternoon musically vibrant as everybody look forward to the volleyball competition hopefully in September 2019.
